The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has once again been recognised for its outstanding contribution to digital skills development, receiving the prestigious Premier+ Award at the Cisco Academy Partner Conference held in Thessaloniki, Greece.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that UWTSD has earned this accolade, a testament to the university’s sustained excellence and leadership in delivering high-quality instructor training through its Cisco Instructor Training Centre.

UWTSD remains the only Cisco Academy in Wales to hold Premier+ status and is one of just three academies across the UK to achieve this elite recognition.

“We are incredibly proud to receive the Premier+ Award once again,” said Kapilan Radhakrishnan, Academic Director (Applied Computing) at UWTSD. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to empowering educators and learners with the digital skills needed for the future.”

The Cisco Premier+ status is awarded to academies that demonstrate exceptional performance in instructor training, curriculum delivery, and student impact. UWTSD’s continued success highlights its pivotal role in advancing digital education and supporting the wider Cisco Networking Academy ecosystem.
